Prior to joining SF Capital Group, Neil Wolfson spent five years as Chief Investment Officer and President of Wilmington Trust Investment Management, a $40 billion investment management firm. He was also President and CEO of the Wilmington Funds, a $10 billion mutual fund family. Prior to Wilmington Trust, Neil served for eight years as a Partner at KPMG LLP and National Partner in Charge of KPMG’s Investment Consulting Practice. Neil also spent over a decade at Kidder, Peabody & Co. where he ran the managed money area, founded the Analytical Investment Strategies Group, was a senior portfolio manager for Kidder Peabody Asset Management and ran the firm’s PRIME Asset Consulting Group. Prior to Kidder, he developed a multi-factor security system currently employed by a number of investment management firms. He started his career developing financial futures and options contracts for a commodity exchange. Neil holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Management from New York University where he graduated magna cum laude and received NYU’s Dean’s Honor Key. He was a University Honors Scholar, having graduated in the top five percent of his class. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and New York Society of Security Analysts.
Robert Bob Steinmetz is Chief Financial Officer of SF Capital Group. In that capacity he oversees tax management, accounting, information technology, estate tax planning and trust management. Bob started with SF Capital Group in August 2000. Prior to SF Capital Group, he spent 7 years with Atlantic Business Products as Chief Financial Officer. In that role he managed the departments of Accounting, Order Enter, Accounts Receivable and Collections. Prior to Atlantic Business Products Bob spent 12 years with National Patent Development Corporation in a variety of positions at various subsidiaries including Vice President, Finance, Controller and Internal auditor. He is a CPA and holds a BS from Stockton State College.
Jason Brenner is an investment analyst at SF Capital Group, where he assists the firm with asset allocation, manager selection, direct investments and performance reporting. Prior to joining SF Capital, Jason was an analyst at SIAR Capital, a single family-office investment firm, for four years. Prior to joining SIAR Capital, Jason was an associate research analyst at RBC Capital Markets, covering the Internet Software & Services and Media sectors. Jason earned a BS in Economics with a dual concentration in Finance and Statistics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
Evan Wang is an investment analyst at SF Capital Group where he assists the firm with asset allocation, manager selection, direct investments and performance reporting. Prior to joining SF Capital, Evan was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he practiced M&A and Corporate Restructuring. Prior to joining Skadden, Evan earned a joint JD/MBA degree from New York University with specializations in finance and corporate finance. Evan also received a BA degree in Economics from Cornell University.
Frederik Gieschen is an investment analyst at SF Capital Group, where he assists with asset allocation, manager selection, direct investments and performance reporting. Prior to joining SF Capital, Frederik was an analyst at SIAR Capital, a single family office investment firm for three years. Prior to joining SIAR Capital, Frederik was an associate at Macquarie Group in New York, where he worked on M&A transactions of lending and specialty finance companies. Frederik earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany.
Linda Fung is Controller of SF Capital Group. In that capacity she oversees cash transfers, cash management, portfolio accounting and tax return preparation. Ms. Fung started with SF Capital in October 2013 as Senior Accountant and has since been promoted to Controller.Prior to SF Capital Group, Ms. Fung spent 7 years with The Dreyfus Corporation as Senior Operations Accountant.
Ms. Fung recently passed the CPA exam and is a candidate to be a Certified Public Accountant in New York State. She holds a BS in Accounting from the College of Staten Island where she graduated Cum Laude and was on the National Dean's list for several consecutive years.
